The world does not lack ideas—it lacks partnerships that work for the people who are already changing things.
If you believe in:
- Deep listening & trustful collaboration,
- Shifting power to communities,
- Creating long-term, systems-level impact,
- And building a new way of doing funding and cooperation…
…then joyn us.
Whether you are a community, funder, activist, facilitator, idea partner, or volunteer—joy∞untu is eager to collaborate with you.
We’re currently developing activities in multiple countries and regions (India, Central America, West Africa, and more), for working with ecosystems around agroecology, food sovereignty, youth leadership, and beyond.
Let’s start a conversation.
Let’s shift how change happens.
Let’s build a joyful, connected future—together.
What’s Happening Now: Joyn a Local Ecosystem
We’re already collaborating with ecosystems for systems change in three regions. If you’re based in or connected to these areas, we’d love to hear from you:
Northern Togo & Benin: Peace, Resilience & Agroecology
In partnership with our fellow Saka Mora, we’re working with a youth-focussed ecosystem in Northern Togo and Benin. Rooted in locally-led initiatives for peace, we focus on creating dignified alternatives to migration by supporting agroecology, cooperative enterprises, and community-based reintegration. We are weaving a network of activists and local initiatives to prepare the ground for our first ecosystem activations. If you’re based in Togo or Benin and want to support or joyn the movement—reach out to us.
Guatemala & El Salvador: Youth Transforming Their Future
Together with SERES, we are working in two municipalities to build ecosystems connecting young leaders with their wider communities to scale youth-lead initiatives together with these communities. This youth-led ecosystem focuses on joint ecosystem activation, participatory grant-making and cross-border learning. If you’re working on community transformation in Central America—or want to connect across borders—get in touch and joyn the ecosystem.
Odisha, India: Village History & Food System Transformation
In collaboration with Samadhwani and WASSAN, we’re working with the Village History Initiative and Food Systems Transformation—where indigenous youth document their ancestral knowledge to shape future food systems and local governance. This growing movement is rooted in reactivation of local knowledge, systems thinking, and youth-led change. If you are in Odisha and want to work with youth-led agroecology, participatory documentation, or bringing back ancestral knowledge—joyn the conversation.
